Rhonda Portelli (Wendy Makkena, Serving In Silence), a love-starved wise-cracking straight girl recently fired from her bank teller job, comes to his rescue.

This modern day fairy tale begins with a multitude of misconceptions and mistaken identities as a quirky chain of events finds Travis and Rhonda on the road together to Texas. Travis is on a quest for closure from the death of Bobby from AIDS complications and Rhonda decides to follow. The journey starts with trials and tribulations but it becomes a revelation for them both as they learn love themselves and to love life, again.
