OUR VISION
At Wolfe, we believe strongly that
the value of a company lies, not only in its “bottom
line,” but the extent to which all of its activities
and relationships affirm a commitment to quality and integrity.
Our business policies and practices reflect our dedication
to creating and maintaining an enduring, financially robust
business driven by these principles.
Wolfe is the premier distributor
of gay and lesbian feature films. We take pride in the fact
that, for retailers, producers and consumers, the Wolfe logo
on a film attests to its quality, presentation and entertainment
value. We value that trust, and have built our business on
that strong foundation since 1985.
Wolfe is always expanding, driven
to realize and capitalize on new markets and emerging technologies.
We invite creative partnerships to realize greater global
success. A company wide, authentic commitment to customer
service and adventurous marketing coupled with highly aggressive
sales efforts allows Wolfe to continuously serve growing numbers
with top quality product.
Wolfe has grown and developed in a manner that
reflects the skills, values and sensibilities of the people who work here.
We maintain a family culture, which enhances productivity, profitability
and a keen understanding of the marketplace. Our motivated, fast-moving
sales team is supported by a state-of-the-art distribution facility and
an experienced staff of financial planners and negotiators.
We believe that Wolfe makes a difference,
both inside and outside of the entertainment business. Our
business model provides an example for social change, and
our success allows us to give back to our community.

Theatrical Releasing
In 2004 Wolfe launched its theatrical distribution
arm which is committed to offering films a full theatrical release in
up to 40 North American cities. Wolfe employs a strategy of cost-effective,
thorough and aggressive grass roots marketing, and platforms films by
starting in markets most suited to each film and expanding the release
thereafter.
Video Sales
Wolfe is the oldest and largest exclusive distributor
of gay and lesbian feature films. We are experts in mainstreaming gay
entertainment nationwide and we have a keen understanding of grass roots
marketing.
Some of the most popular Wolfe video/DVD releases include: BROTHER TO BROTHER (the Sundance Jury Prize winning black gay drama by Rodney Evans), BIG EDEN (one of the most critically acclaimed films of its release year), GOLDFISH MEMORY (a a light-hearted look at dating in contemporary Dublin), and ON_LINE (the Sundance hit about an erotic website and its online netizens).
Wolfe has been a long-standing leader in the
video industry. We developed relationships early with growing video giants
urging the value of entertainment with gay and lesbian themes, advising
them on the best titles to carry to reach the broadest possible audience.
As a result, Wolfe now enjoys significant sales and key relations with
Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, Amazon.com, Netflix, Best Buy, Virgin Megastores
and many more.
Marketing
Wolfe also provides special outreach and marketing to assist mainstream companies in accessing the gay market. For instance, Wolfe has been a key partner in the promotion of Showtime's THE L WORD and QUEER AS FOLK.
Wolfe's unique access to gay and lesbian consumers
has been highly coveted by numerous studios and marketing firms who wish
to reach this profitable market. For more information, contact Maria Lynn,
